Rebeca (she/her) is a multiethnic, Brazilian-born, Oregon-based psychotherapist and licensed psilocybin facilitator with over ten years of experience in mental health, specializing in trauma, life transitions, and addiction recovery. Her work combines somatic and mindfulness-based practices to foster healing, with a focus on supporting diverse communities. An immigrant herself, she integrates cultural sensitivity and respect for indigenous wisdom into her practice, blending ancestral traditions with modern therapeutic approaches. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Culture from Universidade de Brasília, Brazil, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University. Her doctoral research delved into the long-term ritualistic use of ayahuasca and its correlation with substance use patterns. She has completed MDMA-assisted Therapy training with MAPS, Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy training with Fluence, and has studied with the Huni Kuin People of the Brazilian Amazon. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
