Are you a creative self-starter who’s passionate about wellness, psychedelics, and community connection? We’re looking for a Marketing/PR and Social Media Manager to help grow our vibrant brand. This is a part-time, contract role with a chance to earn profit-share after six months!
What We Do
7 Gates Sanctuary + Apothecary is a hub for transformative healing, legal psilocybin experiences, and medicinal mushroom blends. Based in Portland, OR, we focus on accessibility, collective healing, and building community. Our sister clinics are Be Well Holistic Health and TeamWorks nonprofit.
Your Role
As the Marketing, PR, and Social Media Manager, you’ll drive our content strategy, build connections through PR and social platforms, and promote events to position 7 Gates as a leading destination for holistic healing and legal psilocybin experiences in Portland. Your responsibilities include:
- Content Creation & Management: Develop and produce captivating content (Reels, posts, carousels, newsletters/blogs, press releases) and maintain a library of branded photo and video assets.
- Event Marketing: Promote workshops and events, collaborate with facilitators to generate excitement, and cover live events for real-time engagement.
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and post content; engage with followers; and connect with influencers to expand community reach.
- Compliance & Industry Insights: Stay current on psilocybin regulations and trends to ensure all content aligns with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to align marketing efforts with overall goals and build workflows that amplify our mission.
- Marketing Strategy & Optimization: Streamline marketing funnels, landing pages, and campaigns using MailChimp and Divi, improving engagement and conversions through data-driven insights.
This is a part-time, contract role with opportunities for growth, including profit-share eligibility after six months.
Who You Are
- A social media wiz with a knack for influencer outreach and relationship-building.
- Proactive, self-directed, and thriving in startup vibes.
- Familiar with MailChimp, Canva, Asana, and the wellness/psychedelic space (bonus if you know SEO and Google Analytics!).
- Located in Portland, OR or Remote (Pacific time zone availability only).
